Layout

When typing your article, please use an established font (Times New Roman, Arial, other fonts with a similar look). This makes our work easier.

Please be aware that the editor is, at the moment, unable to send an exact page proof. The final layout lies with the publisher.

For your information

Here you will find formatting advice for authors. Please be aware, that articles and reviews will be layout differently.

If you are unaware how to format your article in your word processing program (ex. Microsoft Word), please send us your unformatted text. This makes our work so much easier! Please send us your finished text per email-attachment to the editor. Paper versions are generally not needed.

If you write your essay using LaTex, we can provide you with a template on request.

General information

Articles in German will only be published following the rules of the new Rechtschreibung (in compliance with the newest Duden edition). Please italicize all emphases in your running text and do not underline or use bold text.

Please pay attention to the length of your article! Articles should be no longer than 52000 characters, reviews should not exceed 13000 characters.

In order to improve readability, we ask that within your running text you do not use a mixture of languages. For example, when placing a quote in a sentence written in English, please use the English translation in your running text and in a footnote the original text. Longer passages can however be quoted in their original form.

Please provide an up-to-date E-mail address. If you are employed at a university, contact information should comprise university, department, city and country.
